The Harbour Inn is set in an idyllic corner of Ireland beside the picturesque Annalong Cornmill. From the restaurant there is a panoramic view of the Mourne mountains and Annalong Harbour which is the oldest working harbour along the South Down coast and has now been deepened to allow access for yachts.
The Inn is situated only 10 minutes drive from the Royal County Down and Mourne Golf Clubs in Newcastle and Kilkeel Golf Club at Mourne Park. Located at the foot of the Mourne mountains the Inn is an excellent base for ramblers. The heartiest of walkers can enjoy the famous 22 mile Mourne Wall Walk. Or for the less energetic there are beautiful walks up to the Silent Valley and Lough Shannagh.
Our restaurant offers an extensive selection of dishes to suit every taste and, of course, specialises in fresh local-catch seafood. With our range of menus operating seven days a week in summer (we close Mondays & Tuesdays in Winter) we aim to provide an unrivalled choice of cuisine to suit every taste and budget. We are open for lunch, evening meals and Sunday carvery and also provide live entertainment at weekends. We have a function room which overlooks the harbour, has seating for up to 150 people for weddings, parties etc. and has full disabled facilities.
With fresh and exciting new menus and wedding packages, warm, attentive staff and beautiful photo opportunities, The Harbour Inn Annalong has become an even better venue for your wedding reception. You can now also hold your ceremony here as the venue is licenced for civil ceremonies.
There are also great photograph opportunities right on your doorstep when you choose the Harbour Inn as your wedding venue. The historic working harbour out front, or the beautifully restored Annalong Cornmill just opposite which is open 2pm-5pm from April right through to October (closed Tuesdays). The Cornmill often has the working waterwheel running during opening hours. We are also only a few minutes drive from the Silent Valley and 15 minutes drive from Tollymore forest. The list just goes on and on.
