Kirkistown Castle Golf Club is a unique Irish Links golf course and clubhouse situated on the eastern shores of County Down, Northern Ireland on the beautiful Ards Peninsula. Recently recognised as the Best Value Golf Experience in Ulster (Golfer's Guide to Ireland, 2019) The Club, founded in 1902, has been an enduring central landmark within the townland of Kirkistown and the small village of Cloughey. Our current membership consists of approximately 800 members across various categories from the young and young at heart, to the golfing fanatics as well as those who simply enjoy the food, drink and great craic.
Whether member or guest, everyone is most welcome to come and experience our outstanding links and warm welcome.
The Braid Bar & Lounge has proved to be a perfect venue for many functions of all kinds; from small gatherings to large parties, our personal service and attention to detail has enabled us to set the tone that the Customer requires and has ensured that special memories are created for all who attend.
We can cater for birthday, engagement, anniversary and christening parties and of course wedding receptions. Kirkistown Castle Golf Club is perfectly situated for Brides and Grooms to relax and enjoy their day from the moment they arrive. Situated directly opposite the lovely Cloughey Beach and sand dunes as well as the Club grounds itself, photographers are spoilt for choice as to where to take the perfect pic! Our Staff take the utmost care and planning to ensure that your Wedding Day lives up to your dreams; if you have an idea for your Wedding, please feel free to talk it through with us, we will do all that we can to make it happen!
Each function is so individual that we have only been able to give you a brief idea of what we can accommodate; please note that we will be more than happy to discuss your individual requirements.
