With several acres of beautiful gardens in private and exclusive surroundings, Lisnavagh opens itself up to a wide range of events and stays. Situated on the Carlow/Wicklow border about an hour or so from Dublin, there are striking panoramic views of the Wicklow Hills, Blackstairs Mountains and Mount Leinster beyond the estate’s 600 acres of woods and farmland.

Lisnavagh is a large 19th century Tudor Gothic house, set within 800 acres of parkland in County Carlow. It is a beautiful and enchanting sanctuary for wedding parties, whatever the season.
Settling into Lisnavagh on the eve of a wedding gives family and close friends an invaluable opportunity to savour the moment as you stroll around gardens worthy of a Jane Austen novel and enjoy evening drinks by the fire in the historic oak-panelled library. A delicious dinner, served by The Lisnavagh Kitchen, leads onto deep, restorative sleep in the individually styled bedrooms. Lisnavagh can accommodate 14 guests in the main house and for the wider party over the weekend, a further 60 guests between the courtyard stables and guest cottages on the estate.
We offer two intimate and unique ceremony spaces, The Yew Walk and The Brick Barn, both within walking distance of the house.
Following the ceremony, drinks can be served on the extensive lawns before dinner and dancing kicks off in the majestic Garden Wing.
Lisnavagh is a place that invites you to linger. You may wish to continue celebrating the day after the wedding, with a family brunch perhaps, or a barbeque on the lawn, along with games, such as archery or croquet which can be arranged.
